Looking for cheap gauges

Trying to find out who has the cheapest gauges, so I can make a custom cluster like this guy:

http://zilvia.net/f/chat/186605-s13-custom-cluster.html

but unlike him, you feel?

anyway, i was looking at the cyberdyne digital gauges for the things i want digital, and stewart warner gauges for the other displays.

then comes the issue with wiring the gauges, but thats for another thread (or if anyone knows how, point me somewhere).

are there cheaper gauges to be had? digital or analog?

They look nice. They're also cheap shit quality.

If you want gauges that work, I've heard nothing but good about Omoris. They're fairly inexpensive used, but I don't know about new.

For new ones, most people have good things to say about Stri. More expensive than Prosport/Megan, but not as expensive as Defi.

Digital gauges are never cheap.

Analog gauges can be had in mechanical or electric flavors, electric being preferred most of the time, but the general consensus in other performance communities is that a top end mechanical gauge will cost the same as a bargain basement electric gauge and be more accurate... so if you're on a budget, LFG's (liquid filled mechanical gauges) could be the best buy. No opening sweeps/etc, and you've got capillary tubing and copper temp probes running everywhere instead of just wires, but they work well.

Otherwise, there's some mid range STRI electric gauges that use high quality stepper motors and have very good visibility in the advertisers section. High end would be HKS/Greddy/Apexi, and best of all, Defi.

cool, ill check out the omori gauges out. STRi also looks good. i am on the see-saw of cheapness/functionality. i tilt a bit to the cheap side but functionality keeps the see-saw in check. also, its my car, ill do as i please, etc.

the only digital gauge i want is that cyberdyne fuel level gauge. i thought of getting the Defi HUD setup once, but that would kill my wallet. i dont care about gauges that dance or sing, i just want shit that works. for cheap. but not so cheap that the shit fucks off 10 minutes after i use it.
