Please look at the pic and tell me what goes there. I just got the motor and this piece was missing.

Is it just a block off plate or what?

it looks to me like your transmission dust shield isnt there, could you take a few more pictures, so we can help you better...

Dust shield or inspection cover, called both. Not really a must have part but if you can find one easily, put it back on.

I appreciate the help. I am going to try and source one because god knows we dont get dust....... or mud...... or snow........ or tranny eating birds in South Dakota
