![]() hey, I was wondering if the gt2876r had the same bolt on pattern as my stock sr20 turbo? I have been talking to some of my friends and they said that that would be a good turbo swap for my car and I was just wondering how that would work out. Thanks for all the help!

You have the option to get one with the stock T2 housing. But from what ive read from people who ran them, theyre pretty laggy. Preference is still on the GT2871R due to the smaller hot side.

you get more power out of a 2876r than a 2871r. its right in between the 3076r and the 2871r. i have a 2876r on my 2.35L sr and it is not laggy. but that is just because of my displacement. you get over 400whp with the 2876r without a problem.

GT2876R and GT2871R have the same hotside - hence the '28.'
I have a 0.64 A/R version that I got for a decent price - it spools up almost identically to a GT2871R 0.64 A/R from the seat of the pants. Going with 264 cams over stock cams makes way way more of an impact on low end and spool than the difference between an extra 5 mm on the compressor wheel exducer in comparison. |

Setup: -dw 650cc injectors / z32 afm -hks 264 step 2 cams (with RAS, BC springs / retainers) -freddy i/m -enthalpy tune -custom external gate setup Just worried that it would be super laggy.

If I were buying new, probably a GT2871R with a 0.64 A/R housing and just live with what you get. The step to a 0.86 A/R housing introduces a lot of lag for the ~30-40 rwhp you can get over the same .64 setup.
A GT2876R is internally gated in any turbine configuration - in fact, the hotside options are IDENTICAL with the GT2871R offerings. The only difference is the compressor wheel and the compressor housing. |

but like stated above, get some cams and that makes a world of a difference.
