Im just curious of how long the 240's clutches last and at what milage it should be recommended to be changed. Thanks you

it all depends on how you drive. could last 20,000 miles, could last 150,000.

you will know when it needs replacing. after a hard run it will seem mushy, may make a whirring noise when partially engaged (think of cordori pants and that funny deep rubbing noise they make), wont seem to grab as hard etc.

there is no point replacing the clutch because you hit xx,xxx miles. run it till its crap.

Seen an 02 Frontier clutch needing to be replaced at 20k miles.
How easy you are on the clutch will determine the lifespan of it.
If you shift smoothly and such it should last a long time. (150k+ miles)

pretty much any time you have the transmission out it's a good idea to just go ahead and replace it. within reason of course, if you still have 50% or more material left, leave it. when my tranny was out at 50k miles they said i had between 1/3 and 1/2 of the material left, so i went ahead and replaced it.

The stock clutch isn't too expensive anyways... about a little over $100 IIRC. It's when you go with a performance clutch that you wait to the last second to replace it.

To my knowledge, the previous owner didn't replace the clutch during the 127K miles she put on it. I also have not changed the clutch since I got it...which means it has an amazing 186K miles on it!
