Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. I've been browsing these forums for a while to research information about 240s. Just bought my first car, a 92 base coupe and love it. Have a few questions for anyone who would be kind enough to help. First, for a beginner drifter what to get for lsd on a budget, my friend suggested a phantom grip unit, but i can't find a good concensus on if it works well or not. So either the phantom grip or rc200, which one? Also, what is the most comprehensive repair manual for the s13? Thank you for your time.

beginning drifter? learn on open diff and stock suspension. when you upgrade you'll be a much better drifter. learn stock, also when you crash and hit a curb u wont worry about ruining expensive suspension parts, it will be cheaper. when you get better, upgrade.

dont waste your time w/ that phantom grip ****
get a real LSD
nismo 2 way
or kaaz 2 way
or at least get a vlsd..if you must.

manual

FSM (nissan factory service manual)
best you can buy. can get it off ebay sometimes
car/model/year specific. dont get that chiltons crud.

Thanks i wasn't planning on getting lsd for a while i still have to save up for it, wanted to see what kind of prive range it would be.

real LSD? installed and all? 1000 easily
fluid runs about 20-50 depending on what you get. change clutch based every 3,000 or more dependin on how hard you use it

dont know what clutch LSD is? use search mode.

hope that helps! get a real LSD and be pleased. dont waste w/ VLSD.

Ive already researched difrent types of lsd.I guess i wanted to confirm that the pg is craptacular and at the rate i save money it would be about a year anyways, so don't worry =)

oh and you can download a FSM from silviaaustralia.com. They have the tech manual for the ca18 sr20 and general manual.
