How do you remove oil pressure switch?
I'm pretty sure it is 26mm/1 inch long socket but do you have to remove the air intake brace? The 1 inch socket I have is to thick to get past the brace. I assume a star 1 inch socket will fit without removing brace? thanks.

Air intake brace? You mean the manifold brackets? Remove them and throw away.

ok, thanks. The 27mm long socket I had actually works fine with the bracket in place. I noticed that there was a ring of white silicone acting like a washer. Nothing on the threads. looks like the silicone the factory used. the hole is too small for my cylinder compression gauge. I guess I could buy an adapter. I have had the electrical connection disconnected for awhile but get no oil pressure warning light in dash. |

Why though are you trying to check compression through the oil pressure outlet?

Thanks. I'm checking oil pressure . I'm using the compression gauge because that is the only gauge I have other than fuel pressure gauge.
