iRotors.com GOOD or BAD?

For the majority of threads I've seen, most people praise them. ANyone have anything to say about them? Good or bad. Quality of their rotors, etc.

Reason I'm asking is because I dont know if Im going to order from Raceconcepts.net or irotors.com.

I personally like Irotors. I bought just slotted rotors from them recently with the new zinc plating. They work great, and I got them for a good price so I can't complain. In terms of stopping power improvement I really cant tell because I did pads (KVR) and fluid (motul 5.1) all at once so the car stops A LOT better now i general. I praise the KVR pads however, Dousan and I both...

How much did you pay for Just slotteed? Also, is it really worth the zinc coating, according to their group buy thread, they said that it wears off anyway.

WEST: Did you get zinc plating?

How much are they charging? Like $15 per rotor right? Yeah kinda expensive to drill one hole, but o well, just another price to add on for z-brakes.

What rotors did you get? 240sx 4 or 5 lug, or 300z rotors? How much did you get them for? Did you do local pickup since you live in SoCal? Sorry, many questions but I have been think about picking up rotors from them and would like to know others experiences with them. Thanks.

I went with raceconcepts
the guy there tossed in the coating for no charge ^_^ and he undercut irotors prices as well, and helped install it too.... he was very friendly and really quick about the deal too and i have no complaints yet

how much did you pay?

$205 shipped from irotors.com is great!

I dont plan on zinc coating. I'm just gona paint the hub and ring w/ high temp. paint. iRotors says its better that way and its cheaper. (the offer zinc coating too, but would recommend high temp. paint over zinc coating or plating)

$205 shipped is the zilvia member price (its in the group buy section)

brembo does not cross drill or slot their rotors (except on their full brake kits i belive but that BIG $$)

it is done by a company such as irotors and raceconcepts

it is not drilled/slotted from brembo direct.

I met the owner of iRotors. Nice guy that drives an m3. His rotors are good. I haven't had any problem with them yet. I wish I had painted them with the high temp paint but didn't get around to it. I've had them for like 8 months with KVR pads. It works well for street. I'm waiting for the next track event and I'll have more input then.

Okay I paid 205 shipped for the JUST slotted, and West your wrong, they do sell JUST slotted, proof there on my car. I dont really give a **** about the zinc plating, its not hurting anything and I dont care too much about what my rotors look like, its hard to see them through my mesh wheels. They say the zinc plating helps with rust, but I don't know. I got just the 4 lug replacement rotors for my 240. And Dousan is right Brembo does NOT make slotted or drilled rotors for the S13. The only way you can get "brembo" drilled or slotted rotors is by buying them from a company that bought the brembo blanks and then drilled and/or slotted them in house. SO yea. Now everyone shut up.

KVR is good stuff. There pads are REALLY awesome, Dousan and I both praise them. He's the one who introduced me to them. The rotors are good too, but a tad pricey because Im geussing your looking at PDM. Don is a great guy though.

Yea answered. Thanks Millhouse!

Did anybody get the 300z rotors from irotors? Dousan, I'm not sure, but aren't you running z32 calipers? If anyone bought the z rotors, how much did you pay for them at Irotors.com. It seems that most paid $205 shipped for the 240 replacement; how about z32???

nah you can use the stock pads.
i would suggest changing pads only because you gotta take off the caliper to put on the new rotor, might as well get some nice KVR pads and ptu them in as well. get that basic brake maintenance done at the same time.

but thats just me.

but no you can run stock pads on the aftermarket rotors
