Can anyone identify this wire? Was wondering where this yellow wire is connected to? its coming out of the same wire loom as my alt plug and alt ring terminal that bolts to the back of the alt.

It is supposed to be connected to your alternator. Then goes to a 7.5A fuse in the fusebox.

No. Single wire, yellow/blue is the oil pressure switch.

You can clearly see it's an S13 in the picture, not an S14. And you can also see the 2pin plug for the alternator in the picture, so your assumption is still incorrect.
As far as wire color, yellow with a blue stripe is still yellow any way you look at it.

Thanks projectRDM. Its too cold and wet outside to check but I know you know your stuff to a T.

I was hoping it was a wire from my alt since im still having trouble from my other alt/battery thread post.

its not the one for the intake temp. sensor or some shit like that?
check for a sensor on top of your intake mani

Beside the alternator? Not quite kid. Try again. IAT wire is blue/white anyway.

It connects right beside your oil filter.

I seen this earlier but he didn't post in the IT thread so blah.... my guess is oil pressure switch as well.

Yellow with blue stripe = yellow. Glad i didn't follow that rule while tucking my engine and chassis harness.
