What's the difference between the N1 sport exhaust and the Apexi GT Spec Exhaust featured at enjukuracing?? one's for 400 and the other is for 500....

Also, can i still use the N1 if i swap my engine for  the SR20Det??

I'm pretty sure the GT has huge piping compared to the N1 (which already has pretty large piping at 3")  If you plan to do some kinda badass turbo motor, the GT would be better.  But the N1 should be sufficient...and it's good for N/A until you get the SR, too.  And yes, exhausts are interchangeable with SR's and CA's.

Some say the N1 is a tad big for NA...and I'm sure a bit smaller piping would improve low end torque.  However, the 240 has alot of torque anyway...and I felt all gains when I installed my N1.  The improvement was mainly centered in the top third of the RPM band (which is where the KA could use alot of improvement), but I felt no/little loss of low end torque.  Besides, I plan to do a CA swap some time or another and now I won't have to get a bigger exhaust.

Hey "240sxnewbie" if you are going to get an exhaust get the N1 because I think that with are cars we don't need to get huge piping unless we are going turbo.  I have the N1 and I love it, it looks a sounds great.  If you are going to get the exhaust from EnjukuRacing ask for Ken Harrison and tell him that Jarrod De Rosa sent you and he will get you the best price for the exhaust for your car.

I'm of the school that 2.5" piping would be better for an overall gain (it will do as much in the high end as the low).  Aside from that, the GT also has stainless piping, whereas the N1 is only a stainless muffler.  That's the big cost differential (Apexi operates a 4" mandrel bender, so size doesn't make more cost for them).  Blitz is also all stainless.

for N/A, the N/A 5Zigen is probably better b/c of the more appropriately sized piping...2.5-2.75".  The Turbo 5Zigen is the same size as the N1...2.9-3.3".
