SR will not start after it warms up
The car will not start when it's warm, however if I disconnect the coolant temp sensor it fires right up. I've already change the sensor twice. When the CTS is hooked up it runs fine for a while then it starts bucking and back firing, but as soon as I disconnect it runs perfect. What could it be?

Uhhh ummm the CTS! check ecu for codes. then check the wiring for coolant temp sensor then see what your coolant temperature is. Make your engine run cooler?

hmm. possibilities.. heres what sounds like is going on, when your car is running after you first fire it up aand its cold the ecu throws more fuel in the motor until it warms up to normal operating temp. so what it sounds like is it thinks its cold the whole time even after warm up and is over-fueling.
1. too much resistance in wire to/from CTS 2. could be the sensor 3. bad ecu 4. thermostat i would check your thermostat first |
