90 240 issue with lights

how would one fix this issue with the lights.

The rear lights do not come on when the lights are turned on, the dome lights and the dash lights will not come one. The brake lights work. Fuses are fine and bulbs changed.

Any help would be great.

Question about SR engine, does the 5 speed shift like a standard american 5 speed from left to right or is it from right to left.

Thanks

are you talking about the running lights? and do they only not work when you are pressing the brakes? i had this problem, it turned out that the grounds on the light asseblies wasnt making good contact with the bulbs, i unscrewed all the wires from it, got rid of melted plastic that had gotten inbetween the contacts, and reassembled, that fixed my problem

and japanese shift patterns are the same, i believe in all cars they are the same, except for reverse, some european car manufacters put it in different places like bmw, and porcshe

ya, the running rear lights, the only time the rear lights light up is when the brake peddle is pressed. When not stopping the rear is off.

i had the same problem
there is a fuse on the right side of the panel under the dash....
the same fuse controls the dim lights, and the taillights........

just change them all cuz it only cost like $5 anyways
