Hey, can any of you guys post any GT3 drifting videos? I know James and some other people posted some, but they don't work anymore, so I was wondering if you guys could put up some new ones. Thanks

do i need a modem on the ps2 to upload vids? is there another way to do it? i got some nice ones w/ my little 180 and my 240's.... even got a nice vid w/ a camaro. i dunno if my sKiLlZz match up w/ those of kidynomites or james vids cause i havent seen em.

well.. you need to connect your ps2 to your computer using usb adapter or something.. and then edit the file from your computer.. then upload it to some server/host

hehe. they shut down my website again. I used 10 GB of transfer in 10 days, begged for 2 more GB, got it, mine and Kidynomites last videos used those 2 GB in two days. hehe.

Its supposed to have another 10 GB of transfer on the 1st of April (right now) and I complained again to the webhosting company 15 minutes after midnight asking why I don't have it

I'll have to remove most of my videos and Kid's videos so it doesn't happen again. I sent my FTO video to fileplanet and they are hosting it http://www.fileplanet.com/files/120000/121842.shtml

I'm trying to send the videos to http://gtplanet.net but they didn't respond to my email. Bbandit you should let fileplanet host it

I wanna see some more of your videos.

there are two usb ports on the front and some other connection... i have the same kind on my digital camcorder and i got the cable for that one too. it says i-link... any diff if i use the usb or that other connection?

from digital output on the back
i believe you have to get one of those s-video converter for your ps2
OR..
you can get the usb converter at bestbuy..
it convert your 3 color cable from your ps2.. to a usb.. then connect the usb to your computer.. install some softwares
and voila!

if you buy the adapter from bestbuy (i saw one last time i was there).. they'll include all the softwares you need

My PS2 has a tough time reading discs too. Takes about 5-10 minutes. The digital optical output is for audio only. I have that hooked up to my receiver. I'm also using the S-Video for the video. You can hook up your keyboard and mous to the USB ports for some games. The thing Bbandit linked to is similar to what I'm using. You take the yellow RCA video plug or the S-Video plug, hook it up to that, then that black box hooks up to a USB port on the computer.

RUF CTR2, with a few extra horsepower from a Game Shark. It's fast, but its the worst handling car in the whole game. The second most expensive RUF handles much better.

I need to put my vids up, do they have to be zip files, I uploaded one a couple days ago, don't know if there were any errors, i just set it up and left, came back and nothing was there. So far no email.

And on my next vid, I am dropping it from 10 minutes to about 6 minutes. Finally found a good song for what i am trying to do, using Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now. It is going to take a while though, I have no memory, so freeing memory and saving replays and basically drawing out what it will look like in my head. Hope it will be a good one.

The longer vids won't be till I get a new comp and some more memory, then I will make my real life vids and video game drifts.

Anyone wanna donate a faster computer to me?

Kidynomite: You can send it as a .wmv file and they put it in a zip file. I think it's so that people don't stream the video from them. It's a good idea, I think I'm going to do it to for my own site, to save bandwidth.

When my video was done uploading to them, it didn't say anything, and the form I filled out to send it was completely blank. So I said fugg it. But I got an e-mail 2 or 3 days later saying they accepted it.

I'm going to download that song. Making videos kills your hard drive(s) I need to start deleting the captured videos. That's what I do for my videos, (whether it works or not!) is to think about what I want to do in the video. I sit in my car at break time, going through CD's for songs, sometimes.

Man, I've been getting some shiity comments and emails about my video. They call me a cheater, or AWD drifting is easy, the drifitng sucks, I need to do this, that, more cars, more tracks. If they don't like it, they need to make their own videos. I don't let it get to me though, I'm sure you and Bbandit would agree that just making the videos is fun. And if people like 'em that's cool.

Bbandit: Yep 5 stars. hehe. When do you get your PS2 back? You said you sent it off to get it fixed right?
