![]() Im looking to get my project KA engine up onto my engine stand and was wondering what bolt holes on the block people are using. I probably havent looked hard enough, but I see no obvious choices. Does anyone have any engine pics of which points you've used to mount the engine on the stand? Also, what bolt size will fit the bolt holes I'd be using? (length, pitch, diameter), and where did you get the bolts? (offhand..if you remember).
Any other tips are greatly appreciated. -m (ps. I tried SEARCH and got crap) |

use transmission bolt holes and the bolts for them
if you need shorter bolts find the thread pitch and buy them from a hardware store be sure to get grade 8 to handle the stress put on them

so the transmission holes are sturdy and balanced enough to hold the engine eh/
just wondering, we have a KA we need to mount as well, but the FSM says to do it on the side....have not tried it yet |
