FL F/S RB26 S14 Swap!!!

Ok so I have the whole swap up for sale. Im leaving to the army soon and have to get rid of it. The motor was purchased Completely stock in good running condition. I have spent a good sum of money on this and am taking a loss by selling it. If you tally up the sums you'll realize what your saving....

RB26 Swap into S14- $6500

RB26DETT from an R33. Blueprinted and just back from the shop
(All these parts have 0 miles)
-Tomei 2mm Headgasket
-Tomei Oil restrictor
-Tomei oil Pump
-N1 Water Pump
-Nismo Thermostat
-HKS timing belt
-Brand New Timing belt Pulleys
-Welded RB26 OilPan (No cheap rb25 oilpan)

everyone wants a rb26 but none of us could afford to drop 6k on just a motor in times like this free bump though for such a beast of a motor!

It's a dope engine, and the new Tomei oil pump/N1 water pump should increase it's value and help it sell...

... but it doesn't. $6500 is too much IMO, unless it has built internals also. GLWS, sorry you had to part your car.

I really dont think its a bad deal.....
Tomei Oil Pump, N1 Water Pump, HKS Timing Belt, Tomei HeadGasket, 1 Piece Drivshaft, and Mckinney Motor Mounts???

A motor with tranny costs $4500-$5000 easily and u have to overhaul it? This has already been Blueprinted to work efficiently and its pretty much a complete swap.

RB26 motorset can be found for less than $4k pretty easily. Besides taking the head off to install the head gasket, what work was done to the motor?

What do you mean by 'blueprinted'? As an engine building term, that means that all parts were matched, and usually goes hand-in-hand with a full tear down, which would mean new rings/bearings among other things.

the engine was torn down and put back together to check part integrity and such.
Yea I can find the Motorset for $3500 and a RB25 tranny for like $500-$1000. Thats $4000 with motor and tranny....

Mckinney Mounts are $1000.......

Thats already $6800........

Tomei 2mm HeadGasket was $250.......
N1 WaterPump was $175.......
HKS Timing Belt was $160.....
Timing Belt Pulleys were $150.....

Over $7000. Now if u r talented and can install all of these to save urself the labor then thats perfect. But it all still comes out to more than what Im selling the Whole swap for.....

Swap is Pending Sale BTW.........

No hard feelings too anyone. I hate fighting on Forums so lets just keep it civilized.

No fighting just wanted to be clear on what was done, because an engine that's torn down and rebuilt (even with the same OEM parts) is worth much more than an engine fresh from Japan, because you never know what condition the internals are in!

It's definitely a beast setup, and for anyone with the cash, that's as trouble-free of a swap as I think you'll find. GLWS, and gogo RBs!
