measure the outer diameter of where you want to connect a hose on the engine. you have actual reference right in front of you.

hell take the damm pieces off that you need to figure out and bring them with you to the auto store.

wow, i didn't know you needed a hose to measure the OUTER DIAMETER of something on the ACTUAL ENGINE...

I'm such a fool, thank you for posting something useful and pointing out my mistake.

let me clarify..for instance, if you need a coolant hose....you can measure the OUTER DIAMETER of the thermostat housing where the hose would connect. then buy a hose with the appropriate INNER DIAMETER.

So by your assumption, he must not have any place to connect any hoses either then. Otherwise, the above post clearly answers the question.

IE, if you need a piece of vacuum line, you measure the fitting the line goes to. If it's 5/32", then you would buy 5/32" hose.

But by calling someone an idiot, you're clearly smarter by telling us all that without hoses on an engine, there's no place to put hoses. Interesting theory. So if I remove a hose, the fittings magically disappear as well?

Just go to ebay and type in SR20det coolant, fuel, vaccuum, hose. All will come up with valid results. Then take what you learned from that, and search for name brands.
