Z32 maf on s13 sr20det Exactly what is needed?

Hello everyone,

Yes i did search but all i found was complete kits for the z32 maf conversion.

My question is,

Exactly what is needed when you convert your stock s13 sr20det MAF with the z32 maf.

Would i need to get a whole new cold air kit just to fit this? or could i piece it together my self.

Thank you!

You could piece it together or just run the maf with no filter if your feeling dangerous

you can't just bolt it on you know... common way is to use an apexi AFC. another way is rom tuning..

it has different readings than the SR maf so y ou need an electronic device to compensate.

physically you can't use the SR air filter, the bolts are completely different, you need a z32 MAF adaptor so you can use a universal air filter. z32 maf adaptors OD vary sooo...be careful.

there's no eral advantage of upgrading the MAF unless you are upgrading other components like injectors and turbo..
