I rented The Getaway yesterday, but the rental doesnt come with the booklet, so does anyone have a scan of the map included...I need the street names so i can find my way around FREE ROAM, to find the Skyline

or, anyone who has played the game, tell me good directions to get to the mansion with the GTR?

Well, i now know how to get to the mansion!

From start on FREE ROAM, make a u-turn and go straight, at the T-section, make a right turn, then your next left...keep going straight, you will eventually see a red and white barrier, make a left and then follow the road right, you should see an open gate...follow the path and the first thing you will see is a white r33, the lotus and go-kart are across from that in a garage.

Your just gonna have to drive around till you can mentally map out certain streets...the modified triad civic is also pretty fast but riced out(they come in purple and green) just look for the altezza tail lights.

I have searched up and down google for a map, but came up with nothing, so i drove around for like 2 hours trying to learn the streets...you will find that you run into a bunch of cool cars from driving that long, i like the sabb and 306

yea i searched for like 2hrs on google and came up w/ nothing. i found the mansion too after a while so its all good. the civics are fast but i agree on the riciness, and the sc430 is pretty str8 too...its a bitch to get it though. gotta steal it from a gang. my problem is the missions now. theyre f*ing impossible. im only by the third one w/ the triads and i cant get passed the basement w/ the 2 guys that have ak47's and the other two w/ shotguns.

edit: i also rented midnight club II...holy crap that game is awsome. i thought it would rely more heavily on the nitrous like MC1 but it didnt. its a little to fast paced though, its hard to keep up w/ the car when your hitting 220mph in traffic. the graphics are awsome, and i love the burnout and doughnut thingy. games hella good.. cant wait for SRS

Yeah the SC430 is fast...

I had to return the game 2 days ago and i was on the thrird mission too, i mostly played free roam looking for all the cars.

I would lock on one of the guys and shoot while you run.

Anyone know when the release date for SRS is?

Do this:

Go to www.copernic.com

Download the program for muliple search engines called copernic agent.

I found over 4000 sites for the getaway PS2.

I am certain you will get what you need. I would be happy to post some links but exploring is half the fun and their are many getaway forums also.

Once you get the copernic program installed, (free) their are many useages for it.
