Just a thought, but you may want to look into the RB25 instead because it keeps your car RWD.

Whatever the case is, though, be ready to throw the 50/50 on our cars out of whack =), but if power is your game..

you can use an RB25 Tranny, or apparently turn off the front wheels power. I believe Karl was the one who did it that way.

There isn't really any guide I know of. If I were you I'd call McKinney Motorsports and talk to them. They will prolly be able to give you the most info. Or talk to people who have the RB26.

But if your asking about it, I wouldnt bother. Go with the RB25 much easier. Or even easier an SR

True, if you are asking in general how to do any motor swap, then you likely are not ready to do it. Research research research, then ask specific questions. Keep in mind questions pertaining to the rb26dett probably won't be answered here as that motor swap is damn rare.

Yes I think me, the rest of the people at the 240 meet, and quite a few locals can agree that he is running rich

you can do a little reading, but since you are coming here for help, i will give you a helpful link Hybridz.org

the RB26DETT will be a pain in the a$$ but not impossible. AWD conversion is illogical thus requiring an RB25 tranny for RWD. because of space constraints, your RB26DETT will effectively become a custom RB26DET (hence the missing T for single turbo). RB25/26 crossmember will work fine for the S14. pinouts for the ecu are hard to come by and most will charge in excess of $1000 for the wiring. i am not trying to take you off path, just informing you of the problems which may lie ahead.

as far as alternatives, the RB25 would be an excellent alternative and has seen more S14 action than its younger counterpart. the extra weight (55 lbs. to 70 lbs. motor only) can be ofset with a battery relocation kit. larger intercooler will require some custom cutting. a little bit of underhood skeleton cutting, and more. you can even use the stock 240sx radiator as the stock rb25 one os too high to fit. there is more info out there just read. i am working on a F.A.Q. about the most popular nissan swaps for the 240sx S14 and am still gathering intel. once it is done, if you are still interested, i will shoot one at ya.
