well basically since no one else has said anything and i just started doing this... i would go with either t3 like a couple others on here have.. or whatever the other one is.. not the t25, to small ive read. and ther arent really any parts out there for piping most of the piping on the ka has to be custom unless there is something i havent found yet. or buy a complete kit already put together.. most pre-built maniflds have a t3 flange or whatever its called on it. so yea.. someone else that knows more let him know..

Nah, your best bet would probably be to jsut have an exhaust shop welt something up.
As for the T25. . . for low boos is it going to be that noticeable? I imagine quick spool. . . How restrictive would the turbo itself be in the exhaust pipe?

I don't think you will be able to use a DSM dp since the turbo on that car is between the engine and the radiator, and rotated 90degrees. I think you will be best off with a custom DP, should be able to get something made for you at a local shop. What manifold are you running? I think that's maybe more important, if you are running the revhard one like everybody else, then probably just go with a straight T3 (not sure what trim, etc.) it would be good for our engine with 6lbs. The t25 is going to be a little small for you, our engine has more displacement and at 6lbs of boost with stock compression ratio you will be using more air then the sr20 did stock. Also remember that oem turbos are on the small side for whatever application, because common idiots (the kind that like the feel of mustangs) don't like the feel of a properly sized turbo (for performance driving) The 2g DSM comes with a t25 as well, but it's a 2.0 liter with 200hp, which is about the same as the sr20.
If you don't plan on boosting over 12psi, then I think you will be fine with the T3. I wouldn't worry so much about ordering a DP that fits, because I think it would be too hard, unless you just get a kit (which is maybe what you should do since you don't want to weld a custom one)

your downpipe has NOTHING to do with what turbo to run. the DP dosent bolt directly to the turbo. you'll have a piece going between the two. order your dp for your car. the 16g wont bolt up to the stock SR manifold the housings are slightly different iirc. but if they day the have them to fit go for it should be a good street strip turbo. capable of what say 350 hp to wheels. (check out forced performance's Big28 turbo... should be relatively close comparo) or go to www.240sxforums.com and read the turbo upgrade sticky in the sr20 forum. Abailey put up some GOOD info on it.

its goin on a KA...i know the downpipe has nothin to do with it..im jus askin
the jgs manifold lets u weld on wutever flange u want for my application i figured those might be the best choice for my motor. small, quick spool, and cheap

if its going on a KA i dunno. that extra .4 liters DOES make a difference... a friend in atlanta has had success with a T3 off an older Nissan 300zx (Z31) thats been really god too him (pulled a good half a car length on my SR running 7psi on the T25) and he autocrosses it alot and likes the responsivness. so thats something you can junkyard hunt for too. but call FP and see what they say about that turbo on the KA. might be pretty intresting.
