Why would you spend so much money for such small gains? Either spend that same amount on an SR20 or use about $2g for cams, exhaust, header, intake, ECU and tuning.
It only has 175hp...we start out with 155hp. |

sure if you consider a new engine for over 5 g's my price a discount? the infiniti g35 is a rwd 3.5 liter like the new z so that would be a more sensible but really really expensive swap. if someone had enough money for this i would suggest one of the skyline engines

You know, why would you want an altima motor when you could have a civic motor? civic has that v-tec thing. And then you could put Type-R and SiR stickers on the car with a reason.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to be mean. The Altima and the 240 motor have two different tranmissions. They're mounted differently. The old altima motor you're talking about is weaker than the KA motor you should have in your '91 and up 240. |

Come on guys...he asks a fairly legitimate question and y'all go on some wild twin-engine tangent.
Shouldn't the long blocks be compatible? What makes the Altima KA weaker? |
