Question about 300ZX Offset

Thanks for reading. I was looking to buy a set of rims for my 1993 300ZX 2+2 and came across this set of rims. Here are the specs.

17x7.5 all around
Offset: 45

Now, on tirerack.com they have wheels of the same measurement, but I'm just wondering if a 45 offset is too high for a z? Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks.

Way too high. And narrow too. 7.5 is stock width. You can do 8.5 front 9.5 rear, with a +35 offset easy.

to answer your question they will sit in your wheel wells about like stock. Your just going to have an inch less rubber obviously.

17x7.5 +45 = Pussy wheels.

Go with at LEAST an 8" wheel, and at the HIGHEST, a +30 offset.

17x9 +15, 17x10 +15 would look nice.

True. Any wheels that have GOOD fitment are gonna require at least a roll.

Thats not to say you cant find wheels that look good and dont require a roll.. but to have that "grown man fitment," you'll want a lowish offset which will require a roll. Tire size will also play a large part in whether or not a roll is necessary.
