bad clutch install? need extended push rod?
I had a shop install my clutch and now it grinds a little bit shifting it from 2nd to 3rd, and a couple of times it grinded pretty bad putting it into 1st from neutral with the pedal all the way down...
I brought it back to him and he told me I need an extended push rod, but that just seams like a quick fix for a bad clutch install... Will just dropping in an extended push rod fix the problem, or will the clutch still wear out faster? I don't think it would effect it but its worth mentioning the car has a short shifter (not ebay brand) car is a 04 wrx

A) he needs to bleed it better
B) needs to adjust the clutch pedal for proper release height C) needs to stop being a lazy ass that's what you need to tell him. i have yet to install a clutch kit on a 240sx, Skyline, or 350Z that needs an extended push rod -Juan |
