susp. problem

Ok guys, im really not sure what this could be. My friend and I were going down to the shore yesterday, and everything was fine.

On the way home all of a sudden the car felt like i was losing air in my tire, as if i was getting a flat. It felt really shakey, so I pulled over to check my tires and they were fine, i even checked the psi in them and they were fine, all at the right psi and everything. So i started to drive again, and you really couldn't notice anything until you get to about 40mph and the steering wheel starts to feel really weird as if you were hitting constant little bumps. It does not pull to either side. Just feels very shakey in my hands, and my passenger said he could feel it too.

I never felt this b4, and i really don't know what could be wrong. It feels as though it is coming from the passenger side.

I have kyb agx's with sportlines for about a year and a half.

could i have a blown Shock/strut on the passenger side.

Pls all help is much appreciated.

My s14 does the same thing... Goes straight, but steering wheel shakes. Mine gets worse when you hit the brakes, i suspect warped rotors. This may be your problem as well.

Things to check:

Wheel balance
Rotor runout
Bushings (esp. TC rod bushings)

thanks guys, yea i was talking to my friend and he said that maybe one of the weights on the rims for the balancing might have come off or something.

I'm gonna take a look at my wheels later.

Well i just removed my passenger side rims and i have found what i think is causeing the problem. On the inside of my passenger side rear tire there is a bubble in the tire. I am pretty sure that this is what's causeing the problem, because i have yet to find anything else wrong.

So my question is, what can i do about a bubble in the tire. I've never had one of these before, is there any way to fix it, or is the tire pretty much shot?

Is it safe to ride on, because i wasn't planning on putting my stock rims back on yet for the winter? But if i have to take them off i will.

Thanks guys

If you have what looks like a bubble in the tire, then you most likely have a separated belt. There is nothing, AFAIK, that you can do to fix it, so you're gonna have to replace that tire. Do it ASAP, because the separation will only get worse.
