Does anyone have shoes that they just love to drive in? My tennishoes are my favorite. They make me feel like part of the car. All my other shoes make me sloppy. Yes, I blame it on the shoes.

Driving in socks (because you just took off your rollerblades a few seconds prior) is kinda fun. =)

I recently started in door rock climbing and have decided that driving in these shoes is the best! They most closely resemble real racing shoes..they rock! I did a sweet drift on to an on-ramp in these.

Uhh.... doesn't matter what shoes. I can heel-toe in dress shoes (and those suckers get NO grip).
The best are the most comfortable I guess.

driving shoes? Nope, I preffer barefootin it. Nothing like the feel of a cold aluminum pedal on a bare foot. Second to barefoot is my worn old old sneakers that I wear for everything. They are so worn there isn't even any tread on the bottoms.

how good I drive is dependent on the shoes im wearing. Can't wear skating shoes when I drive anymore, too big, I have to slip on my old sick nike shoes. Yea!

Have you tried sidestepping? I wear wide size 12 shoes, and that's all I can do at the moment. I'm going to get a cutaway wheel and some smaller shoes sometime, hopefully that will help. I'm not sure if there's really any advantage though... Hmm new thread!

They have all kinds of driving shoes. From street shoes but good to drive in, to professional shoes. Be prepared to pay about 2-300+ for a pair of those tho.

Sparco is top end, it's what almost all pro racers use.

I like my Vans. I love my Vans . They're pretty good for driving. However, I've found that heels aren't as difficult as it seems. They give you more of an angle. For the gas and brake pedal. They suck for the clutch. But I deal with it. I definitely reccomend Vans though... At least for girls.

ehh...first...DSC, invest in some new socks....those are the most hideous socks i've ever seen.
Second, Timberlands are no good...they have great grip but are too cumbersome to heel-toe in. I'd think that wrestling shoes might work pretty good. They are thin and very gripp....i should try on my old ones and go for a spin.

i've got Piloti Monaco's that are pretty #### nice, rolled heel and reinforced outside right sole for heel-toeing, they are also nomex lined. definitely comfortable enough to wear around every day, but i don't. they're like 80 bucks, so not too bad. you can go to piloti's website and order them

I wear New Balance running shoes and Nike running shoes. Sometimes I have my Lugz casual shoes and uh..I could bearly feel the pressure of the pedals. It's kinda odd since they're thicker and heavier than my sneakers. I might get me some new Nike air b-ball shoes.

Or maybe those Sparco casual shoes made by Puma!

I have a pair of nike's from like 3 years ago that I still wear all the time that have the bottom almost completely worn out. You can feel everything, I like that.. and this way I don't want new shoes. Every so often when I actually wear boots I can't drive, I can't even feel the pedals. IT's scary.
