Never had one but here is what it is...
What put ya in the mood for one of these anyways? Im sick of that crap. I prefer Mango slushies... My girlfriend always gets boba milk tea... though the milk coffee isn't too bad with topioca.

Go to Mong Kok in Hong Kong... there's this one stall which makes the best pearl tea and coconut drink...

Haha weird, I've never heard people call it bubble tea before. Here we call it either pearl tea or zhen zhu nai cha. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> (Don't attempt to read that out loud if you can't read Pinyin. ^_^)

Danio....I got the "nai cha" part...but what is "zhen zhu"? I took like one semester of Chinese awhile ago, and I can only remember so much...hehe.

I thought it was boba nai cha... Never heard it the other way. (I live close to Monterey park and all my friends are chinese)

They probably say "baba" because it sounds like "bubble." I'm just guessing though. Never heard of baba nai cha. :Þ

I knew the nai cha part...and Danio cleared up the zhen zhu...lol..."tapioca crap"...I'm still laughing at the whole www.bubbleteasupply.com website. I can't believe that shit man! Bubble tea supply delivered to your door!! That kicks ass!
