Here's the deal; when I pop the trunk, there is almost NO tension in the release at all! The latch unhooks fine, but the hood just rests there, and I'm looking for a way to increase the tension so that it pops up nicely, and hopefully closes a little more snug. The only thing that I can see that contributes to the tension are two metal rods that cross over eachother, and don't want to bend them unless I know for sure that's what is causing this problem. Any suggestions to fix it??? Thanks!
