![]() What's up everyone. I took my car to get smogged and they said that he couldn't finish the test because my check engine light was on. He wrote on my receit that I had "no vacuum to EGR valve" I am not sure if I need a new EGR valve or if the vacuum lines going to the valve are clogged so I need your help everyone. I NEED TO PASS SMOG. Thanks for everyone's help.

at this point, you'd be best off paying a mechanic to make it work right.
If you don't/can't provide us with the information we'd need to perform an 'internet diagnosis', then we can't help you. You know.. Pertinent info like vehicle year, engine, mileage, modifications, etc. More likely than not you're talking about a SOHC S13, but it may well be a DOHC.. And you've likely got old-ass cracked vacuum lines. Or maybe your EGR valve is clogged.. or maybe your intake manifold is coated with carbon. WHO KNOWS?! |
