Is there any way around a enhanced inspection for r title

I'm asking because my car failed the enhanced inspection. I was wondering if there are any states that dont differentiate salvage and reconstructed. Then transfer it back and it be registrable? Any input?

This is what I found on wikipedia.

"Title washing refers to transferring a vehicle's registration for the express purpose of removing a title brand.[12] The practice is legal, and practiced by the insurance companies themselves,[13] Title brands such as "salvage," "junk," and "rebuilt" are not standardized, and a vehicle which has such a designation may receive a clean title when registered in a different jurisdiction. Further, vehicles imported to or exported from the United States and Canada are issued a clean title, even if they have been involved in an accident. Other states have relatively lax inspection criteria to remove the salvage brand.[2]"

What you need to know is the specifics. What state do you need to transfer the title to so that when you transfer it back, it will be recognized as "rebuilt?" Thats what you need to know.

Salvage title

try researching title washing specifically?

might as well bump this... looking for anyone who has experience on the matter.

We've got a car that was totalled and has already been repaired properly, and WOULD pass the enhanced inspection were it not for the RB25 thats in it. It automatically fails due to no OBD2 diagnostics. Parting the car out seems extreme, and swapping vins from another car is technically illegal. Im not opposed to bending the rules, but ideally we'd like to find a way to do this 100% legally, even if it is through a legal loophole.
