Battery tray/cable ideas
My batteries look has been bothering the hell out of me.
As of now I'm thinking about mocking up a snug tray and possibly box, also I'm looking around at different cable ideas. Something to freshen up the bay a bit. What are some things you guys have done? (other than relocation) |

You could just relocate it to the back and not worry about its looks if it really bothered you that much.

Yea I've got a KA-de.
I'm not really interested in relocating just thinking of various ways to change up the battery region. I've got my eyes in a lot of the picture threads, but I also wanted some feedback not simply looking at pictures. Does anyone know of any not so plain looking cables and connections? I've seen some good stuff out there, Broadfield had a pretty interesting cable connection. |

why dont you want to put it in the back? theres plenty of room and it helps get some weight off the front of the car. win win. also just a theory of mine but i think batteries last longer in the trunk because of cooler temps.

@soreballz - right back at you!
![]() panda - I honestly feel like a smaller battery up front is just more accessible. It's more of my preference than any sort of functional aspect. But so far what I've got in mind is a fabbed up half box and a custom strap over the top, with some clean cables. Apparently I'm the only one who obsesses over their battery region. |
