it seems my alternator's starting to crap out on me. i've never tried but how hard is it to rebuild or is it best to let a shop do it. i ask this as the cost for most shops in my area to rebuild is almost the same price as just buying a new one

Why don't you just find someone in your area who did a motor swap and buy one off of them. Just check the for sale forum. People are always selling them.

ive got an alternater that im not going to be using (swapping) that i am trying to sell. shoot me a pm and we can work something out.

i'ld love to just go get one off somebody but nobody's swapped anything in a 240 anywhere remotely near me, if i do the swap i want i'll be the like the second person in winnipeg with a jdm nissan engine. and there's none in the wreckers either
