Okay I want to know if its okay to run stock SR cams with upgraded valves, retainer/srpings and solid lifters? im trying to make my sr back to stock but just want to know if its safe. sorry noobie question.

Yes it will work.....But everything still needs to be shimmed properly

oh ok. guess ill need to sell my hks 272. sold my pfc and buyer flake my motor.

I was talking to my motor builder about this. I dont remember exactly what he said, but something about unless you running a sold high profile cam, you DONT want stiffer springs.

I have BC springs and retainers in my car right now with stock cams and i have no issues at all...

anyone else? I would keep my built head and just change the cams only. but i just wanna run stock turbo, injector and ecu.
