Fender Harness issues.

Hey guys!

Repairing my little brothers S13. Some doucher decided to torch it(attempted) and we got the fire out before big damage occured. However, I have come to a stop in repairing the wire harness in the left front fender well area. (Fuel/kerosene leaked down cowling, into wheel wells, onto tire, tire burning burned the harness.

Some pics.

to this....

somehow lucky enough it didnt get into the car....

Dash isnt even touched.

and my fd....

My lil brothers twin decided to fuck with the wrong people, and this happened.

ANYWAYS,

The car is all fixed, minus the wiring that was damaged. Suprisingly enough, the damage was 90% cosmetic, and we were able to find original black panels to replace them to keep the originality of the car(very low miles, 1 owner car)

I have brown, orange and a few other colours. All the same, no dots, no lines, just straight colours, 3 brown wires together, but which goes where? I cannot trace them wire by wire, as one section was completely burned through, rendering the harness un identifable.

I got some chunks of wiring out of a wreck and have got most of it done.

Does anyone have a diagram of what is what? I have the FSM, but cant decipher the darn thing.

CLIFF NOTES:
What the hell are these same coloured wires in the fender harness and what do they do, and can they be mixed up? or does it matter.

Help my little brother get his dream car back on the road.

holy shit tell us the story

fsm doesn't really help since it all goes into the SMJ then splits off into the whole car, and its a shit load of wiring and the other direction leads into two different looms

your best bet, at this point, is to do ahead and relocate the harness either into the bay or into the car, and then figure out which wires go where

you might be able to use a DVOM to do a continuity test but it might be difficult

got the same harness messed up too on my s13... after a lot of time tracing each wire, i just bought another harness since i've ended up with 3 brown wires in my right hand and 2 black in my left hand...

if you still prefer to re-do the harness, there's multiple wire the same color, but you can't mix em up
