hey all

whats the deal with the little "sock" my parts guy was referring to? it goes with the pump apparetnly.... can you re use the old sock?? (I think its some kind of filter in the tank?)

caus i havent had a car in 9 days and they stock the filter but not the sock

Its the fine meshed bag that looks like a "sock" and goes over the gas inlet to your pump. Its the inlet filter for your pump. You could use the old one but I would just wait and get a new one...I hate doing things twice or re-using old parts I know should be changed.

is this for a walbro, because i have an extra filter laying around for an s13, brand new

no but thank you! Its an OEM pump (rebuild)

I went to the store and I have to use the strainer that they provide or else there is no warranty

Im still not convinced its not my relay but i cant check cause no one freakin knows where it is!!!
