SR sr not running rite searched

OK heres what's going on. I have a red top and I just finished putting tomei cams 270 in 270 ex, rocker arm stoppers, valve springs and 1.2mm head gasket. While the head was off I also did a mile port. Anyway when I start it runs like crap for about five minutes and then just dies. When I pulled the spark plugs out they are wet with gas. So my question is why is my car getting flooded out. i'm pretty sure I have the timing rite, what else could it be??? Somebody please help I've gotta get the car running rite before I go back to school next week!!!!

Could be leaking injectors. Pull off the fuel rail (with injectors intact). Turn the key to the "on" position to let the fuel pump prime. Then just check for any leaks.

If I pull the fuel rail off w/injectors intact won't the injectors spray everywhere when I try to start it?

no, not until you "START" the motor and the ECU tells the injectors to open. if they spurt/drip, you need to replace the guilty one(s).
