Manual boost controller setup

Hello everyone,
Before everyone starts to tell me to search let me explain my problem. I have had an Sr20det for close to 5 years 4 years of which I have run a manual boost controller without problems. Recently I have decided to clean my engine bay up and get rid of my 2 piece hotpipe and replace it with a cxracing single piece unit.

Problem: old pipes had boost pressure line to connect to my manual boost controller to, cxracing line does not.

From what I have read the bottom of the throttle body vaccum lines are boost lines, could I just tap into these or do I need to weld a vacuum fitting on the hotpipe?

I really would like another option rather than welding a boost nipple on that single piece beauty

That thing of beauty is going to get dirty in a hurry. So don't worry about it, boost pressure source should be near the compressor with short lines to your BC.

Get out your drill.

Has anyone used the boost source from under the throttle body, with good results?
