Crank and crank and crank then start...
I've been having an intermittent problem with my stock 1991...
Sometimes I have to keep cranking until it sputters to a start... It will take about 10-15 cranks and it has happened about 5 times now in the last few weeks... After it turns on it runs just fine... My concern is that I might try to turn it on one day and it won't fire up... Please help...

leaky injector proly, its not really a big deal. our '03 focus does this every once in a while where you crank and crank and crank n nothing, so you just stop, let it sit for a couple seconds, then start it and be on your way

Leaky injector sounds like what it could be... I give it some gas and it helps to get the car started as well...
My concern was that maybe the fuel pump/fuel pressure regulator or ignitor was dying out... These cars are getting old and the problems I am seeing are either old wiring or dying components... I'm going to see if there is a local shop in LA where I can get the injectors serviced...
