Hey guys, spent all day searching and still cannot come up with an answer, maybe just looking in the wrong places!

I bought an 89 hatch with an blacktop swap, the engine wiring harness was haggard to say the least, so I ordered a wiring specialties premade harness today, however, when I was removing the OLD hacked up harness, It was connected to the chassis harness by a series of butt connectors, near the underhood fusebox. Is there supposed to be a plug here? Pic below show where the engine harness connects to the chassis.

heres the engine harness, the wires in question are on the far left i cut them where they met at the chassis.

I see here its the two battery connectors, Guess ill just have to hardwire these when my new harness comes in?
