Cool Chevy Sonic Turbo 40MPG 23PSI of boost DD sleeper ZOMG!

Testing waters... lol. I don't actually need to sell it; I'm just curious if anyone would be interested in it, or how you peeps would react to it. XD

'12 Chevy Sonic Turbo
-Clean title
-Original Owner
-Non-smoker
-Bluetooth and Cruise Control
-Only ~6000 miles
- 6 speed manual transmission
-Black cloth seats
-AMAZING Gas mileage
-Fun Daily Driver
-Quiet when electric cutout is closed.

Mods:
-Trifecta Tune (tuned to 91 octane; runs 23 psi of boost reliably while still getting 40+mpg. )

- You can push the cruise control button to switch to stock tune on the go.
- No Lift Shift
- Undetectable, so no worries about voiding warranty.
- I'll also throw in the cable for flashing back to the stock tune/updating tune if
desired.
- Car was flashed at 500 miles. 5500miles later, and the car still works perfectly fine.

-B&G Lowering springs (The first and only set in existence thus far! )
-2.5" BadlanzHPE Electric Cutout
-Ultragauge (for reading boost, intantaneous mpg, CEL's, and lots more! ^_^)
-Shark Fin Attenna
-DDM Works Shifter Bushings

Pics:

Can't find any interior pics atm but here's what it basically looks like, except with cloth seats.

Thanks for looking and have a nice day.

Right ^^

You don't even have engine pic. Wouldn't you think you'd post that..
Also isn't 23 psi just a little high for stock.... IMO

The motor itself is stock but I'll upload a pic when I get the chance. Stock boost is 14-16psi. The 91 octane tune raised it to 22-23psi. (Stock tune takes 87 octane)

lol I know, the boost level and average mileage are sorta out there, but apparently it's fairly common in the FWD Chevy community; the tuned Cruzes (same 1.4L Turbo motor) have been running that kind of boost on stock parts without issues for a while now. (Just google Trifecta tunes for the Sonic or Cruze.)

Wow. You should be a politician. You're so smart! Your observations are incredible!

Your from FL with 5 posts. You should probably learn the rules of the road before becoming a smart ass. I know what a Sonic is. They're actually pretty dope. Didn't know they came boosted though.

Good luck with it. 20+ pounds should make it a fun little whip.

lol I love it when people say that.

A lot of people don't know wtf these things are or that some models even came with turbo's. :P

Speaking of which, $15K new is for the non-turbo base models.

The same people crying about the over pricing of this car are the same people trying to sell their salvage title primer buckets for 4k.

lol thanks!
Very few people do. Most of the time, people aren't able to guess what kind of car this is at meets, and when they do, they don't expect it to be boosted. XD

Well, it is a 1.4L... How else would it get that kind of mpg? :P lol
That's my guess at it. Also, stock horsepower is ~138hp to the crank. (so about 117 to the wheels?)

They don't make 2013 models yet... And besides, I posted "obo" for a reason.
In the case that you actually can find an LTZ Turbo for that price out the door, that is ridiculously cheap, and you probably should jump on it.

No worries. I wouldn't want to lead anyone astray. (And it still is my car...)
I actually appreciate having a GM tech give some input.

What do you have to say about this then:
Definitive Answer- Can the dealer detect my tune? - Page 2 - Chevy Sonic Owners Forum

Also, there is still the option of flashing back to stock should the person really be worried since I'm throwing in the cable and software.

I don't know if this applies to your car but, I know that Subarus with COBB AccessPORT flash tunes are traceable even if they revert back to stock.

We have one of these cars to deliver parts with at work and they are actually kind of fun. Ours only gets 29mpg, but it's the 1.8 NA and a shitty automatic. Bump for a neat little car.
