RB25 afc-neo Hotwire settings

I've read countless forums stating that the afc-neo Hotwire settings for RB25 using stock MAF should be 4-IN 4-OUT single/single.

Now when I set it to 4-IN 4-OUT my car has a really hard time starting. Basically it will just crank until I step on the gas and crank it then it'll start and idle.

When I set it to 1-IN 1-OUT it has no problems starting.

The apexi manual states 4-IN 4-OUT for rb25 so I'm kind of stumped.

Has anyone run into this problem?

I'm pretty sure as long as the numbers are the same both in/out, its good. You're telling the SAFC that you're running the stock MAF and dont change the voltage.
