I just did this swap in my slamed 98 mustang and it came to about 12 grand. Expect to pay more if you do the work yourself..

you need a full 2j swap as you would any other swap... mounts and custom driveshaft plus a custom wiring harness which is 800

You're better off giving your $10k to a shop to do it. Your $6k would be even enough to do it yourself...
