Considering selling/trading my beloved FC but im just testing waters at the moment to see what offers are out there.

As stated above this is a very clean well preserved example of a shell from the 80's, 89k original miles on the clock no rust or major damage whatsoever. CLEAN TITLE, I am the 2nd owner and the car has always been a cali car. Car is currently under non op for the fact that its been sitting for a bit since ive been busy with other projects. All the car needs to be fully running again is a motor, tranny & battery, everything else is intact and fully functioning. You do the math, a 13bt motor & tranny are around $1200 so you could have a really clean FC for a bargain. Id be mostly interested in drift potential projects for the reason i feel this car is too clean to be drifted, almost like it would be an injustice ha Car is usually under tarp and cover to protect the pretty paint but uncovered her to take some pictures

*brand new gauge pillar pod
*stock air box & maf included
*EBC greenstuff pads - Fronts installed Rears New
*Im sure there's a couple things i forgot so ill add as i remember


Cons
*Passenger quarter panel has two decent size dents which arent too visable but are there, didnt break the paint
*Passenger fender is a bit banged up on the bottom from me avoiding being hit by a dumb ass expendition a while back, it was either take damage to the entire driver side or strafe to the right and avoid larger damages. (TurboII side skirts would completely cover damges with OEM goodness btw) if it makes you feel better the car was on stock suspension at the time as well
*Tiny black mark on the rear bumper which could be very easily covered up with a bit of touch up paint
*A few plastic pieces are cracked, nothing that can't be found at your local junkyard
*Passenger visor has a bit of residue on it, once again nothing a simple junkyard visit cant fix

Minor list of cons but thats about it, im a very honest seller and i rather put everything on the table.

LOL ...You find me a motor / Tranny and Battery for 1200 dollars..and ill buy this thing...you cant touch one for under 2k Imported from the only reputable (which is not reputable anymore because hes a theif) Importer in California..

Clean shell's only worth 1200.

Unless the market for rx-7's and 240's have inflated due to dumbasses crashing them...Which Would be good for me since i own 3 of them

Ever heard of ebay? Theres a couple engine & trannys for sale near that price with free shipping. They all have warranties so just be sure to check compression & seals as best as possible. Not saying its bullet proof but that doesnt even count for people with connections or say craigslist ads. and its not just a clean shell for its year, it has numerous parts some with some good value.

Unless you have something good to say id appreciate it if you kept your thoughts to yourself, its not your thread, car, or worry so thanks buddy

haha whatever you say buddy, you could buy one running thats a piece of crap for a grand that will more than likely need numerous interior & exterior fixings/alterations to look at least as good as this one & a running rx7 for a grand definitely wont be a TurboII model so if you ever plan on running anything force inducted actually worth swapping in the car youll need to swap majority of the drivetrain from a TurboII to even insure the car could take that kind of a beating & your also paying for a car thats from 1988 with 89k miles thats in excellent OEM condition, you just dont run into something this clean from that era.

I am a jackass I do know..If you look at the top of the thread ive owned over 10 fc's in my lifetime..Restored 3 of which to mint condition, and currently own 2...So yes i do know ....I also know that a 10th anniversary rx-7 SHELL which only had 1500 of them released in the USA, would BARELY touch 2k in mint condition as a rolling shell....Post count? I hardly use this forum due to my experiences with buying from dishonest members + all the honda kid trolls are pretty annoying...I spend most of my time on other forums....IF you check my past posts you would see why.

I hope the OP has better luck selling it to you guys though! I'd rather see an FC in good hands then , be picking parts off of it at the yard..
