I have one basic question. I wrapped electrical tape around my tail light socket because the grounds won't stay in place. Now will the electrical tape catch fire? I only drive the car at night for about a hour and that's when the lights are constantly on and that's when they get hot so will they catch fire?

They wont. But you should use heat shrink. They best thing for car wiring

nope. If it get's hot enough it might melt / stink. fire? no.

another good thing is a hot glue gun , stick and shoot inside. My next best friend alongside of ducttape.
