Selling my 98 F-body 5.7L Ls1 engine. Engine has just freshly been finished by MCP Comp. Engines in Lakewood, NJ.

Asking $4000 but open to reasonable offers

This engine does have extra work done to it. It wasn't just a stock rebuild.

Here's a list of what's been done to the engine -
Stock crank, rods n pistons
New bearings
New rings
ARP rod bolts
New GM oil pump - ported, shimmed n blue printed
New Katech single timing chainset up
Custom ground cam - 224/226 .595 .570 w/ 114lsa
241 casting heads - ported, polished, milled (mild on the port n polish job)
Comp 921 spring kit
Manley push-rods
New Ls7 lifters
New head gaskets
New valve cover gaskets
Ls2 intake manifold - mild port job

I'm pretty sure I've got everything covered that I had done on the engine.

It should produce between 400-425rwhp BUT that will depend on your exhaust set up, gearing, tuning, dyno, etc.

I'm asking $4000 but willing to take offers.

This is Intake to oil pan. So weather this is for your ls swapped 240 or your buddy that needs a new engine in his f-body. This motor is ready to drop in!!

This motor is also located at MCP Comp. Engines , so If you want to see it, let me know and we can set something up.

I already lol. I have 243 heads, Ls6 intake, ms4 cam, but didn't spend nowhere near $4k. I guess parts are.cheaper in Ga

I can sit here and list garbage parts I found on craigslist n ebay n scrap yards too allllllll night long but not going to waste my time.

A used pile of parts you listed doesn't show me much. All it shows me is you bought a bunch of used parts.

I bought my LQ4 rebuilt with 1400 dollar TSP CNC ported milled L92 heads, and LS3 intake complete from intake Mani to oil pan for a little under 4k.
