Thumbs down Removing Paintball Stains from Vinyl Wrap

I was going to post this in the small questions thread, but I figured its a bit more off the wall than "how much oil goes in my car?" and probably require more coverage. And the fact I already searched that thread (among others + google) and couldn't really find anything other than removing vinyl and miata vinyl mildew removal. You get the picture.

Anyways,

So I work at a Paintball Park, and the other day at work a stray ball flew over the woods from a field and landed on my hood (Whoever parked next to me got the worst of it) and it was roasting in the sun a bit while I was working. When I get off work I notice it and clean it, but it looks like the orange dye "cooked" into the vinyl per say. I washed it with soap and water right when I got home, with no result.

I read WD-40 can lift water based applications from vinyls, so I tried that and it came out a bit, but there's still this dark orange glop on my matte black bothering me. If anyone knows any option other than re-wrapping my hood, (and getting a car cover of course, NOT dealing with this again...) any help would be much appreciated, as I haven't found any on removing polyethylene glycol dyes from a car vinyl wrap.

tl;dr: Paintball Paint (polyethylene glycol) has stained my vinyl wrap, Anyone have experience removing REALLY tough stains from their car vinyl?

Agreed. Hopefully they don't have a waiver about cars at the park. I know most fields do. But the vinyl is done. There's nothing that will remove the stain. Sorry man.

I thought the purpose of vinyl wrapping a car was because it's 'easier' and 'cheaper' to do/repair than paint?

Just have the hood re-wrapped?

Park won't pay for it. I'm an employee there and they have "park at your own risk not responsible for damage ect" and stuff all around, basically by entering you agree their not liable. I wish I could find the stupid kid who probably started randomly shooting into the air when the game started make his ass pay for materials. or a full on paintjob haha. stupid little bastard....

From the sound of things I'm just going to re-wrap it myself. Was hoping for something to remove it quick and easy but I'm 100% sure that shits cooked into my wrap after trying everything I could find. Gonna go buy a car cover ASAP, which I guess is long overdue from all the birds that like to shit on my car.

What sucks is when I drove my truck there I'd sometimes leave it on there a few days (its a truck...lol) and pb paint would come right off (original paint job) thanks to all for the information. Never expected vinyl wrap to hold shit in like that, I'm glad it was only on the hood and not a larger surface area to redo.

Thanks to all for the info!

I've never EVER found anything to remove stains off the matte vinyl I've applied at the shop. For as cool as it looks it's one major PITA to get good stains out of, and even if you can, it discolors/ruins the area anyway.
