RB25det MAF options
mods
S14 rb25det s1 swap (stock) greddy intake manifold custom t3 turbo manifold Tial 46mm wastegate Holset hx35 top feed 850cc bosch injectors aeromotive FPR 3-inch exhaust nistune type 2 Target HP 400~ blah blah blah etc...... I want to run a blow through MAF and have googled around for some info and opinions and for the most part there is mixed feelings about running them. I would like to run a blow-through n62 but want to know what you guys think and any better alternatives if there are any. The main reason I want to go blow through is cleaning up the amount of piping near the turbo(vac lines,IC piping,BOV recirc pipe, etc).

i have yet to go ka-t but i plan to go blow thru when i do it. havent read much problems about blow threw execpt the top of the maf popping of at high boost. if you got the money and want clean setup you could get a cobra slot maf they make a plate so you can weld it into a charge pipe. you actuly place it out of sight just by putting it on the bottom or unseen section of pipe.

Do you have experience any thoughts about the quality and accuracy of ford lightning MAFs? Was actually thinking about this and even made a thread about it but didn't receive much response except someone saying they would rather go with a n62 but these MAFs are cheaper and easier to find and support much higher HP than the n62 does.

I have not read into them at all sense they are out of my current budget and power goals. im just planing a simple junkyard (execpt for a few peices) t28 ka-t blow threw setup which i will proably get the n60 maxima maf once i overflow the stock one. if i had the choice id do it over a n60 or n62 solely cause its very clean set up, you could make it look like you running a MAP setup just by placing it right.

My tuner is recommending the MAP ecu3 so I can just run map instead of maf. What you guys think?
