while im looking for parts I still want to work on my car. and free up hp as much as I can so if anyone knows some tricks to free up HP plz share

assuming det...
and assuming your thinking power wise only...

#1-cheap intake filter.....
#2-boost controller.....will get you the most hp for the cheapest....about 30/40 hp i have one for sale for $80 bucks. brand new.

you could do an exhaust: 3" all the way back will help a little.. maybe 10hp or so, you can find them on ebay for $200 bucks... no need for expensive brands.
you will be near the 250/260 hp mark...

after that a tune like JWT or similar company's will do some good.
your going to max out at .270/280hp.before upgrading the turbo and injectors..
at that point you could think about fmic/coilovers etc..

He's in Japan so I wouldnt be suprised if its a DE.

My advice, go swap in an SR20DET engine. Stop fucking with the NA SR20 if you want more power. Only thing you can really do to it is exhaust, header and intake. Nothing more pass that will yield you much more. You can get an engine set from somebody parting out a car for $500.

and im waiting on tax time for motor swap and a trans swap and read end but until then im going nuts in a stock car so far I got header back 3inch and strut bars all I found so far...

I remember going thru a junk yard in Oki, and found a brand new chaser sitting there intact except for a huge gash in the entire left side like he scraped against a road barrier. guy wanted $350 for the 1jz in immaculate condition. i just didnt have any truck or method of picking it up lol...plus the guy said I needed to have all the tools and do the work myself.

Go talk to Josh at the KAB Hobby shop, he might still have a NA header. He used to have one in his drift slut at the Bull Ring.
