hks gt2540 fitment

i have a redtop s13 motor and i am putting on a hks gt2540, as i understand, its a bolt on as far as the manifold,

-but i've heard the outllet/inlet pipes are incorrect or angled wierd? or is that only on the gt30's ?

-The stock actuator will work on the internal wastgate...but i've seen a special bracket to fit for the gt25r...will that concern me too? Also, i was thinking about using the hks actuator ...thats probably a better idea? does that come with the brackets?

-I've heard that the oil/coolant lines are exactly the same of that on any gt series turbo, so i'm ordering a s13 to gt25r oil/coolant line kit from taka motorsports. Just want to tripple check that one.

- Also...greddy turbo elbow...fits yes ?

Yes I have searched, but some info is for the gt25r or gt2835 or other turbos. I just want to make sure i've got everything correct !

I do believe the HKS GT2540 is the same thing as the Garrett GT25R, just double the price.

So yes, everything that applies to a GT25R applies to the 2540. Might I ask why you're spending the money on an HK$ turbo instead of getting the equivalent garrett for much less??

Indeed it would...much better than the $1600 new or whatever HKS charges.

I would avoid a GT28RS however...it's basically a mismatched (in my view) turbo that doesn't do anything all that well other than provide somewhat quick spool.

I'll be going with a GT25R .64 a/r myself
