Ca18det oil feed?

I'm installing a t28 on my ca and were I left off last night was the oil feed line from the block, I'm putting braided lines on it, I followed it to the back of the engine but got lost there n it was getting late anyway, so any help on this? Like a picture or diagram? Mabey just explain how to get to it? Appreciate the help.

#1 oil feed
#2 oil drain

Honestly, if you just had used google images your question would have gotten answered faster than it took you to write this post.

The picture is most-likely from a bluebird, so its in a FWD configuration. Never the less, the oil feed and drain should be in the same spot as your motor.

The only hard line that should go to the back of the engine is for the turbo's coolant line feed.

If its in fact a oil-feed that's going to the rear, either whoever you got the motor from has no idea what their doing, or its a CA18DE and someone taped the oil filter block for a feed.

Just took it apart, it was another coolant line, so why does the braided lines all only come with one coolant line

Nvm dumb question, but were exactly does the braided line connect to that coolant line? Do I just cut the hard line and clamp the line on there?

The original coolant line should lead to a rubber hose. I put a barb fitting on the end of the line and clamped the rubber feed line onto that.

With the barb fitting attached your coolant line should look like this.

In that case, like you said, cut off and leave a small section of your hardline to clamp onto

Or you could just use a double sided barb if your new coolant line is long enough.
