Nissan VK45 Grand AM GT Race Engine package...

We are going to sell this engine to fund a project of ours. * *We purchased this engine along with some other engines and parts directly from Menard's. *

This engine is fresh and has never been run.

Engine allowed *for Grand AM GT class.

Engine designed and built by MCT/Menards from data and experience gained
from Indy lites and daytona prototype VK45 engine development.

Spec is 10.5 compression,
steel carrillo rods,
.416” lift intake, .376” lift exhaust.
CNC ported heads,
custom steel valves,
custom springs and retainers,
Custom lightweight DLC buckets,
standard crankshaft modified,
custom chain drive and mechanical tensioners,
custom cast magnesium valve covers with cam sensor,
custom cast alloy sump and, custom front covers designed for structural
daytona prototype rear installation,
dry sump pump by pace in UK,
custom cast engine driven water pump,
standard inlet manifold with modifications to dual runner operation,
standard throttle body modified for mechanical operation with adjustable
linkage ratio.

has tilton flywheel for 5.5" clutch with rear 36-1 trigger. Clutches can
be included

magneti marelli crank VR sensor

magneti marelli CCP and BARO sensors

alloy fuel rails with injectors

bosch motorsports fuel press regulator

full motorsport engine harness with autosport connectors and F1 spec high
heat environment heat shrink protection. Full pin assignment supplied.

Nissan coils modified to autosport connection

race alternator

We were told these engines make 450hp restricted. *As in restricted through the standard inlet manifold.

High rev engine... 9500 rpm or so. * Designed to last an entire race season(this is a lot of abuse) before being gone through. *

Included is everything you see attached to the engine in these photos. *

Very trick and tidy package.

Full harnesses available

Definitely an engine for a Z chassis. I don't even think an S-chassis could handle this monster without reinforcements.

Is that supposed to be directed to me? I never said it could not fit it nor did I mention the LS engine. All I'm saying is that one should reinforce the chassis (engine bay) before putting in this monster engine (and LS engines as well).
