S14 owners: need a NICE 4/6-pt. rollbar for RR/AX?

There's a shop out near Buffalo, NY that's willing to do it for cheap (their DC2 Integra bar is $420 + shipping for 4 pt, $480 + shipping for 6 pt). The guys are AWESOME welders.

He said he could also weld in the bar from the main hoop to the floor.

2-3 prepaid buyers and he'll give it to us for a good introductory price (hopefully similar to what he's offering for the DC2). Who's in?

the 4 pt bar is simply gorgeous.

after looking at that link, tho i think that the 6 point "cages" are a touch lacking in support up front. If i were going to go through with a cage, it would go right through the top corner vents in the dash.

just a thought...

The 6-point is a drag spec cage... designed more to keep the floor straight.

We can just buy off the shelf Autopower. For $295 we can get one configured like this one, or for $340, both cross braces are removable for rear seat access.

Kirk Racing makes an off the shelf bar for the S14, too. I don't know pricing on that.

So, I've confirmed pricing w/ TrueRace. Same deal, $420 for a 4 pt, $480 for a 6. And yes, it'll fit sunroofed S14s, because I'm bringing my sunroof-ed car in for fitting.

Whoever is SERIOUS about this, please email me your name and your nickname on here @ [email protected] and I'll work out the payments w/ TrueRace, plus a timeframe on the whole deal.

Oh. And if you want it powdercoated to your favorite color, its an extra 20 or 30 bucks.
